No. The S02 has a 1.4 L internal water tank, so you can simply fill it, plug in the machine and start making ice. For longer runs, you can connect an external water bottle of up to 5.5 L.
Can I use tap water?
Use fresh, clean drinking water. If you live in an area with hard water, filtered or RO water can help improve the taste of the ice and reduce mineral build-up inside the machine.
Does the S02 keep the ice frozen?
No. The S02 is an ice maker, not a freezer. It makes fresh ice on demand, and unused ice will eventually melt back into the water tank. If you want to keep the ice for later, transfer it to your freezer.
Can I schedule the ice maker to run later?
Yes. The 24-hour timer lets you schedule the machine's start or stop time. For longer, more hands-off operation, pair the timer with the external water supply.
What happens when the basket is full or the water runs out?
The S02 automatically pauses when the ice basket is full and resumes once enough ice has been removed. When water runs low, the low-water indicator lets you know it's time for a refill — add water and restart the machine to continue.
How do I clean the S02?
