Select 12 ice thicknesses by pressing the +/- button on the LCD panel. As you do, the display shows you varying time-to-ice for each setting - between 12 and 20 minutes. The thicker the ice, the slower the melting rate. Go for a higher number if you care about slow and even dilution of your drink. Pick lower thickness when you want the same top-notch crystal clarity but a little faster.
